The main objective in curtailing the Silent Holocaust is the reversal of what started it, the United States Supreme Court Roe vs. Wade decision. The first step in this convoluted process is establishing a Supreme Court with Justices who have intrinsic ethical and moral values. Five of the justices are of 70 years of age or more. Justice Stevens is 88 and unlikely to serve 4 more years. Justice Ginsberg had cancer and underwent surgery. Justice Souter expressed a longing to retire and return to New Hampshire. These are three of the most liberal justices on the court. If all three retire and are replaced by Obama, the court will retain its even split between liberals and conservatives for many years to come. If all three are replaced by McCain, the conservatives will have a clear majority and surely reverse Roe v. Wade as well as many other immorally depraved decisions.

The four solidly pro-death Justices (Stevens, Ginsburg, Breyer, and Souter) are ages 88, 75, 70, and 69 respectively. The swing vote (Kennedy) is 72. Conversely, the solidly Pro-Life Justices (Roberts, Alito, Thomas, and Scalia) are ages 53, 58, 60, and 72 respectively.

If Obama is elected and gets re-elected, it would be reasonable to surmise that, in the next 8 years, all 4 pro-death and the swing vote will retire in that time. Being as Obama is a 40-something pro-death lawyer himself, it seems possible that he could appoint as many as five young 40-something pro-death Justices (assuming that Scalia holds out till he's 80 before he retires). This would ensure that the Supreme Court remains steadfastly pro-death for the next 30 or 40 years!

So many innocent lives hang in the balance. NARAL knows what's at stake. Planned Parenthood also well aware. Both are extremely vocal about how bad a McCain presidency would be for murdering innocent babies. If they realize what's at stake, we should not underestimate it ourselves.
